Our studio chairs have received a lot of wear and tear during their past five years of service. During the August 1st Saturday Open Studio, community members will be able to contribute and collaborate with Community Member Artist Yuki Clarke on the beautification of one of our studio chairs. This event is part of our Chair Project fundraising efforts which will be critical to helping us fund our mission of creating an inclusive community arts hub in South Baltimore that brings together creatives of all ages, encouraging artistic exploration, collaboration, and growth.
You do not have to be an experienced artist to join in on this collaborative art project. This is intended to be a social event that encourages anyone who is interested in learning more about the membership or the studio as whole to come in and hang out with our member artists!
This event/fee is on a sliding scale (pay what you can) and is separate from the usual Open Studio “Craft Pass.”
